'Newer hotel, definitely not a 5 star hotel in room, service and breakfast quality. Bathroom smaller than one in Holiday Inn Express. Although rooms were paid in advance at arrival a relative high amount of bail was asked for and the small amount of tourist tax had to be paid directly and could not be put on the bill at check out.
The architect who designed the room should be sent back to school, what a bunch of unpractical errors.

'Excellent location (shopping areas, public transport), friendly staff, great view from the room (33rd floor). Interior hotel and room design is getting a bit outdated and could use a refresh, including the bathroom. Would still recommend because of the positive items of this review.'

'It was amazing, spectacular hotel with an amazing staff ready to help you all the time. Coming back after a long of sightseeing felt as coming back to home. Amazing facilities and hotel is nearby Kyoto station. I’d definitely recommend staying here. '

'Excellent Hotel that lives up to as well as exceeding many of the Ritz we have stayed at. The amenities were as expected however what truly stood out was the hospitality of all the staff. The employees of this hotel are the best I have yet to encounter '
