'We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. 'Access to the Schroon River was nice to cool off in, but overall the rental was not worth the money we paid. When we first arrived, there was garbage left over from previous guest. There were missing pans, so we had to borrow a pan from the general store. This property listing was very inaccurate. It says there is heat, wi-fi, a dryer, air conditioning, and 2 bathrooms on the property, but in reality they are talking about the public restrooms at the general store 0.4 miles down the road which...

'We found the hut to be exactly as the description and thephotos appeared. Fresh linens, great views, cozy, andsuprise appearance of the constellations after dark.It was amazing with the dark sky!We did not cook or grill, had evening refreshments and coffee in the morning, and did use the mini fridge.'
