'The Yurt was scenic, peaceful, and picturesque with everything we needed. A Blue Heron visited us daily, as did the ducks on the pond outside the Yurt. Complete with warmth for the cold nights and all the equipment to store and prepare food, we were able to see some local attractions and go back and forth to and from the Yurt conveniently. Brett and Alicia were wonderful hosts, giving us our privacy but always available. We did some fishing and hiking and visited the Natural Stone Bridge in...

'The cottage was a quintessential Adirondack cottage. It was quaint yet roomy. It was close to so much! Would definitely stay here again.'

'The room was very clean. The bathroom is teeny, but was also clean. We spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the TV to work, only to find out that the cable box needed to be rebooted. Also, we contacted the host directly - once via text and once via phone and he didn't get back to us either time. Lastly, when we booked this room we had no idea it was actually a motel room. We were in a building with multiple single rooms and it was very loud during the night with people coming in...

'We enjoyed our stay with two grandsons biking the Adirondack rail trail with us. The accommodation was conveniently located, clean and spacious, with many thoughtful touches that we appreciated!!!'

'Cute house and great location!'

'Details were impressive: from utensils in kitchen, to softness of bedsheets. Would stay there again.'

We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. Everyone pitched in, bringing whatever expertise they had, to get the job done. All of the basics are provided,...

'Perfect size for a couple. Very clean, good amenities.'

'Large space, ideal for groups. This was just for me and my mom, so it was overkill, but it was a comfortable stay anyway. It was nice getting to sleep in separate rooms. The kitchen has every appliance you could ever ask for. My mom was very happy for a glass of wine after a long drive. I appreciated a couple pieces of chocolate. The board games in the living room were a thoughtful touch. The heater situation was a bit odd (one big heater in the dining room, cold everywhere else?), and we...

'Room was nice but, loaded with drain flies we had to have killed at least 20 throughout the stay. Water pressure in the shower was non existent. The pool that the said that was useable hasn’t been clean all season. Location was great walking distance to downtown.'
