Amenities are great. You are in a middle of wildlife. We see monkeys, iguanas and coaties everyday. it is a big resort to explore. They have a few big pools. The beach wasn't as what we expected because of the sargassum but the resort staffs did try to remove them everyday. There are sections where you can swim but we decided to stay by the pool. They have the carts/buggies to bring guests around. They have a variety of entertainments every night and we were able to book a la carte for most nights. The nights that we did not get to book was by preference because our child wanted the buffet and we wanted to watch the nightly shows. On the first day, can't complain about the room. It is clean. The sleeping area looked updated. But the bathroom could use some updating but it was clean. The only issue was that we had to switch rooms twice and would have been 3x had we not insisted to just exchange the mattress of the sofa bed or the whole sofa bed with the sofa bed from the other room. The two switches from before was needed; 1) outlet sparked losing electricity in all outlets and 2nd) sliding door broken, can't use the balcony. the issue with the sofa bed took a long time to get resolved. Probably due to language barrier. But when we spoke with their guest services representative Adan, it was resolved right away. Adan was always there to attend to our needs. This is the first time that someone actually made sure all our concerns are addressed. This is top notch customer service!
