'Right across the street from quiet, beautiful stretch of beach. Ideally located close to downtown and up the street from the beach restaurants/bars at the roundabout. Sunrise breakfast at Sliders is awesome. The unit came equipped with EVERYTHING you need to cook (or bake for that matter). Quiet, comfortable and effortless check-in and checkout. 'Great location with close proximity to the beach (walking distance) and old town Fernandina Beach (short drive). Large pool with an outdoor bar area. Hotel room was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. Overall a great stay. Couple of hiccups. Upon check-in, the credit card reader would not work. 'For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn.'
