Over deze accommodatie

Light-Filled Loft at Vondelpark. Rijksmuseum & Van Gogh in 15 min

  • THE APARTMENT
Wake up to Vondelpark right outside your door — one of Europe's most beloved city parks. This light-filled loft is situated on the third floor of a characterful building dating back to 1880, built during the development of the historic Schinkelbuurt neighbourhood. The apartment has been furnished with care and love — the way we would want to be welcomed ourselves.

The open, creative space features two living and sleeping areas that can be separated by en-suite sliding doors for added privacy. One side has a comfortable double boxspring, the other two single boxsprings. Perfect for couples exploring the city, and equally well suited for families.

The price is based on 2 guests; the apartment comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests.

    THE LOCATION
A bright and spacious apartment directly on Vondelpark, within walking distance of Museumplein. Set in a lively yet pleasant neighbourhood with excellent restaurants, cafés, lunch spots and shops right around the corner. The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are a 15-minute stroll through the park.

    FACILITIES
The bathroom features a bathtub and hairdryer. The toilet is in a separate room. The fully equipped kitchen has a Nespresso machine, fridge, microwave and kettle.

    YOUR HOSTS
We live on the second floor of the same building and will welcome you personally on arrival. We're happy to share local tips and practical information about Amsterdam, and are always available during your stay — while fully respecting your privacy.

    GOOD TO KNOW
The apartment is accessed via typically steep Amsterdam stairs — part of the authentic charm of the building, but worth noting for guests with limited mobility.
The municipality of Amsterdam allows a maximum of 4 guests in holiday accommodation; no exceptions can be made.

To maintain a calm and pleasant atmosphere for everyone in the building, stag/hen parties and the use of alcohol or drugs are not permitted. We kindly ask all guests to respect the house rules. Failure to do so may result in termination of the reservation without refund.

The apartment was in a fantastic spot, right next to Vondelpark and lovely shops and cafes, plus walking distance to major sights. Jean-Paul was a great host - communicated well and was really helpful and friendly when we arrived, even letting us check in after an early flight arrival from Australia. The beds were comfy, hot water plentiful (even with two pre-teen girls showering!) and everything was clean and neat. Beautiful views too, I loved watching sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 4 days while we visiting Amsterdam. It was perfect for our family of 3. The space is very comfortable and it was good to come back and relax after a day exploring the city. The neighborhood has lots of stores, restaurants, and is close to public transportation and parks. Would stay here again when we come back to visit.

Great location in Amsterdam

Easy to get to from remote parking at the Olympic Stadium. Large loft accommodation and very gracious host who helped us up and down the steep stairs with our luggage. The center of the city was a quick Uber ride away.

Wonderful apartment across from Vondelpark

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Perfect for our family with two teens. Had all the amenities we needed for a 4 day stay. Very comfortable and charming spot. Jean-Paul was very communicative and helped with our luggage up the stairs, which are very steep. We would definitely stay here again. The Vondelpark is lovely and Amsterdam is a wonderful city to visit.
