'Our family of four really enjoyed being able to see horses, dogs and kittens (all safely enclosed in their own spaces) while staying at this well appointed property - they even provided a few snacks for our arrival! Travelers should note there are not a lot of food or grocery shopping options nearby (15-20 minutes) so some planning ahead is recommended. '

'Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay on this lovely farm! The cottage is authentic, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.'

'We fell in love with The Mill House at Ragged Ridge from the listing on line. In person, the house did NOT disappoint! Beautifully renovated but maintaining that old farmhouse charm while offering modern amenities at the same time. 'We enjoyed our stay, very quiet and beautiful location away from all the noise and business. The grounds are very nice, the house was charming. Our dog loved running in the fields and jumping in the stream. Our host was very nice and responded quickly to our questions, kitchen very well stocked. We had a lovely time.'

'The home is beautiful and much bigger on the inside than the pictures showed. 3 of us stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and basically used half the house because it's so spacious. The views are very pretty. We were on motorcycles for the weekend and came up the first, unpaved service entrance as that is where the GPS told us to turn. If you are on motorcycles, DO NOT go up this entrance! Go to the entrance with the long driveway that has a fence on both sides as it is fully paved all...

'Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!'
