Chapman House is a newly renovated 5-bedroom holiday home on a quiet ridge at the foothills of the Waitākere Ranges, with panoramic views all the way to Auckland’s Sky Tower. It sleeps 10 comfortably across 4 queen rooms and 1 bunk room.

Designed for groups who value space and simple logistics, the house offers open-plan living, a fully equipped kitchen (with Nespresso), a sunny deck for long breakfasts or evening BBQs, ample parking, and a large lawn where kids can burn off proper energy.

It’s close enough to make big days easy: 2 minutes’ walk to Tui Hills, 14 minutes’ drive to Abel Estate, 8–24 minutes to Kumeū’s cellar doors, and 15–18 minutes to west coast beaches such as Bethells and Piha. You get calm nights, smart timing, and scenery worth the drive.

A car is required. Taxis and rideshares service the house reliably. Portacot available on request. No parties. No pets. Built for shared weekends, family escapes and wedding crews who want to skip traffic stress without sacrificing a standout base.
- Pets are not permitted.
- No parties or events are permitted. No loud noise after 10pm. Smoking is not permitted inside or on any of the decks.
- The property is monitored 24/7 with outside cameras plus cigarette smoke detectors and a noise monitor set to an alert level exceeding 85 dB to avoid disturbance to neighbours.
- For security reasons, all external doors and windows must be closed and locked on departure.
- No commercial activity is permitted without written permission from us.
- You will be charged for any extra guests not on the booking.
- You will be charged for any damage to the property or items that go missing during your stay. Please inform us of any damage as soon as possible. Before and after each stay, cutlery, towels, crockery etc are counted and photos taken of each room by an independent cleaning company.
- While cleaning fees are included in your rental, guests should not leave the property in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (soiled carpets, marks on the walls etc). Separate fees are also chargeable for excessive make-up or other stains on linen or furnishings.
- If anything needs to be fixed, cleaned or replaced during your stay, please notify us immediately. We`ll take appropriate action as soon as we can. There`s nothing we can do if problems are raised after your stay.
