'We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!'

'Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.'

'We visited the Portland museum of art and spent a winter ice storm afternoon at the Washington Baths. Ate good food, caught up about all the things. The space was wonderful and airy and warm and lovely!'

'This is a lovely little apartment, and we were very comfortable. I agree with the owner’s statement about the steps being steep; there is no landing at the top of these steps. We brought smaller bags, and that helped! I wouldn’t attempt this with a baby or a toddler. Everybody else: enjoy!'

'Great location near many restaurants. Walking distance to everything we wanted. Well equipped apartment ideal for two adults. It's worth noting that the parking isn't on site. It's about a 3-4 minute walk around the block. This isn't a problem if you aren't carrying a lot of things back and forth. Overall we enjoyed our stay.'

'WOW! What an adorable 2 bedroom with everything you could possibly need! Very clean with a great ambiance! Check-in was a breeze upon arrival. Comes with a parking spot! A great location with so many good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and a walkable distance down to the pier and shopping. Megan and Jason were so easy to work with and terrific welcoming hosts! They made you feel at home and were super helpful! When we make it back to Maine, we will be staying here again! Thank you! :)'

'Overall ok but the linens and bed covers were old, frayed etc. We used the living room futon for guest #3 (it’s old and pleather) and found linens and a coverlet for it balled up on the floor in a closet, yuk, and the wrong size for it. Management did bring over replacements that evening. Hopefully new sheets and coverlets appear before the next rental. Be aware of all the stairs (2nd floor) if you have to drag suitcases up and down. And you have to stack cars for parking in the driveway by...

'We had a great time and this rental was very clean. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. My only tiny complaint is that the bedroom radiator was really loud (as they tend to be) and I am a light sleeper, so they kept me up. Not any fault of the rental, just is what it is. 15 minute walk to everything. Lovely, overall.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter.'

'My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

'We were in town for a family wedding… Prefer VRBO’s over hotels… This was a perfect choice. There is a bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs all with own bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked. And Trader Joe’s is walkable for groceries. But if you didn’t want to cook there are restaurants EVERYWHERE with a great brunch place literally next door. Highly recommend this property – my only statement would be it can get a little hard climbing up two flights of stairs to get to the front door and...
