'This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a very charming, old house with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast is very good and served in a cute and cozy dining room. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I'm pretty picky. Just a few minutes drive to the outlet stores and restaurants in town, but far enough away that it's nice and quiet. '

'The Candlebay Inn is a warm and cozy bed and breakfast. The house was built in the 1800’s which adds to its charm. Our family occupied two rooms and each room was clean and with the necessary amenities including private bathrooms. The owner, Connie, was very welcoming and provided us with a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Maine!'

'This bed and breakfast was absolutely charming. The common space was well equipped with all types of entertainment, puzzles, games, tea/coffee, and a self service honor system minibar. The full breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and the hosts seem to really enjoy sharing their home. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. 'Fantastic stay. We had the Stovall room which was very spacious. Bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom was also very big. Nice shower with lots of water pressure and nice products. Service was super friendly and everything was clearly explained. We’re lucky enough to be able to park next to the building. Only thing that could finish things off would be a small fridge in the room and a coffee maker.'

'We loved this place. Beautiful new rooms with full fridge/freezer and k-cup coffee machine. Porch all around the building was so nice to have to breakfast and take-out dinner. The breakfast at this b&b were fantastic. You have a choice of three things the night before and they deliver to your room in the morning. We ate on the porch overlooking the harbor. 2 minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. No car needed once you’re there. Loved it. mark who took care of us was fantastic!'

'This B and B was outstanding for attention to detail, immaculate condition and cleanliness. Their breakfast was delicious with a start of fresh fruit and scones, and a great breakfast burrito that day. A short walk to LLBean, it’s near all the attractions in Freeport. 'We had a very pleasant stay for two nights at the Stonehouse Manor late season at Popham Beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the mouth of the Kennebunk River. In the morning we lay in bed watching the sun rise on the autumn colored hillside by Fort Popham through the large bay window. It was quiet. We strolled the expansive grounds with our coffee admiring the botanical variation particularly the huge old copper beech in front of the manor. A homemade breakfast of Rachels blueberry...
