'This is a hidden gem in a maybe not well known, but great Barrio in Buenos Aires, i.e. Almagro. Taxi and Uber work great and cost little, so within minutes you are in Palermo or other Barrios. The owner of Casa Umare, Pablo, was always available for any request and even provided us with metro cards. The house itself is a beautifully restored 100 year old mansion with matching art all around, mostly from Pablo, who is also a gifted artist.'

'Excellent hotel for visitors, the staff was always welcoming and willing to make arrangements with our travel schedule. Thankful for the quick response from the staff when we needed something. The restaurant quality was excellent, the food was always fresh and made with high standards.'

'Communication was great and timely. Easy for Uber to pick us up from the apartment building. Grocery store was a few blocks away. There were a few coffee and pastry shops close by. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but it’s close within driving distance. '

'Experiência incrível. A anfitriã se chama Nahir e foi presente durante toda a nossa estadia com comunicação sempre rápida. O apartamento é muito bem equipado, chuveiro muito bom e havia café e chá à disposição. O café da manhã é feito em uma cafeteria ao laudo muito boa. Não há opções de fruta o iogurte: escolhe-se dentre as opções do cardápio. '

'Really friendly and helpful staff, new facilities and great breakfast. I stayed in 4 different locations in Buenos Aires, Krista was by far the best. It is conveniently located in Palermo Soho neighborhood, which is full of nice bars, restaurants and shopping places.'

"Rundown rooms, terrible breakfast. They had no boiled eggs and the omelets were made in an old pan that left black stuff on my egg... Rundown hotel room doors. The only thing OK is the pool area but overall it's just older Americans that prefer everything American while abroad. Step up Hilton! Time for a renovation of all the rooms"
"The reason I chose this hotel is that The Savoy has a rich history and is one of the city’s most iconic hotels. Opened in 1910, during the height of the Belle Époque in Buenos Aires and built by French architect Paul Gallet, the hotel was located in the heart of the city, close to the main attractions, making it a popular destination at the time.
For many years, the Savoy was a luxurious retreat for Buenos Aires’ elite and had a reputation for elegance and refinement.
The hotel has hosted several famous guests, including Eva Perron and Albert Einstein.
The rooms are fine and the shower is great! The breakfast is simple and basic. Furthermore, this hotel could do with a makeover. For example, I personally find the breakfast room bare and uninviting. And the red carpets on the stairs were replaced years ago. And the open spaces on the floors look a bit empty and not very flourishing. The staff is friendly, but the hotel does not have the service of collecting luggage etcetera.. The staff is very friendly.."
"In- en uitchecken zeer onpersoonlijk. Het is nog net niet: hier is je sleutel en nou wegwezen. Ik had een junior suite maar meer dan een extra kale grote gang sloeg dat nergens op. Bed was prima, kussens waren te dik/hoog, andere hadden ze niet. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed, doch weer onpersoonlijk. En in de kelder. Het is absoluut geen 5 sterrenhotel, ze hebben wat boxen afgetikt om dat te zijn maar het is eerder 4. Op de kamer veel herrie van generatoren, geen idee waarvan. Locatie achter Playa Mayor is prima. Wifi is in orde. Persoonlijk zou ik er niet nogmaals heengaan."
