'The cottage was just as shown. Extremely clean, cozy & within walking distance of Village of Black Mountain. We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well equipped for simple meal prep. We would definitely stay again. Check in & communication was easy.'

Our hostess, Dellene had gone to great lengths to make her property clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing (we thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of her antiques and unique decorations). The bubbling brook running through the back of the property was so tranquil we immediately felt the tension leave our bodies and started relaxing as soon as we got there. We loved every minute we were at Dellene's River Retreat and hope to return one day.'

'My wife and I are happy to recommend Jame's place to anyone. Clean, organized, quiet, landscaped beautifully on a long and winding road which is but a hope skip and a jump to Asheville. There's an Ingles for groceries nearby, if you need one, restaurants, gas, there's even a quiet little tavern up the road a bit if that's your thing. Friendly people there. 'We loved the property! It was perfect - welcoming the moment you unlocked the door. The hosts have provided comforts that you find in high end hotels - towels and bedding are amazing along with the goat milk toiletries (my favorite brand) Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings with roses and a water feature. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed.'

'I took my mom to Asheville for Mother’s Day for a long weekend. We went to Biltmore and the outlets while we were there. The property was as pictured it is off the beaten path although it close to town. We did see wild turkeys and black bears but did not feel unsafe. Even my dog slept good and she struggles with relaxing when I travel. Definitely would stay again. Everything was clean smelled good and accessible.'

'We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the attention to details of our host. It was nice to have Kleenex, napkins, and extra counter space for tolietries in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the Biltmore as well as tubing in Mars Hill. It even snowed Friday night! The kids loved the loft area as they felt like they had a space to themselves. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!'
