'Incredibly clean hotel with lovely personnel. Even though some things were a bit dated, the cleanliness made all up for that. Also the complimentary breakfast was a good wat to start the day. '

'The property is perfectly situated for a day and night of walking downtown Portland. The valet parking was easy, but a bit congested at times and the valet staff were super helpful even after misplacing our ticket. The staff were all friendly and informative. Our floor housekeeper Rebecca was the sweetest and has the sunniest disposition. Just briefly chatting with her in the morning made the whole day brighter. The only negative I can think of is that there was some sort of construction...

'This was my first trip away since having kids 12 years ago. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The parking lot, lobby, halls and room were very clean. Our dinner and breakfast at the Inn were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors complimented each other well. It was difficult to make a choice on what to order. We didn't have a pet with us but did see several dogs during dining and were impressed with dog menu. I would highly recommend to anyone...

'We were taking a New England road trip and this hotel was on our stop for Maine. It's on a community college campus and run by the students but they were excellent. Prior to our arrival we received a call from the front desk asking us about our arrival. The guy, Jacob, was friendly and on arrival greeted us warmly. The hotel is near the water and comfy. Perfect for our one night. In the morning we met Emily whom also greeted us warmly and proved us continental breakfast. Overall, a nice stay and...

'Hilton should do better, this was a terrible stay . First room window unit AC was very loud fan squealing l. Second room the window AC barely worked and was also very noisy. The breakfast area floor was sticky and the food items were stale. I will never stay at a Spark Hotel again. '

'the man at the reception didn't like his job very much. I didn't care that he wore a furhat the whole day but the only word that came out of him during our stay was "room". No hello, nothing. Very uninterested. Bad PR...'

'We stayed with many families for a youth sporting event, over half of our group had to change rooms because their room was never cleaned from the last visitors. Our room was wide open when we checked in, leaving us all feeling a little uneasy. Breakfast was cold, potatoes raw in the middle and organization of it was hard to navigate. '

'Beds were tolerable, thin walls heard baby’s crying, doors shutting, hollering and conversations…. And too close to the interstate. Loud traffic!! Cute little pool for my children to swim. Loved the washer and dryer rental option. Staff were nice. '
