'Great place, better tan expected for a Motel'

'We stayed here for 2 nights. The host was very nice and helpfull. Room was very clean and got cleaned again after the first night. The location is very good, close to the park and not too much traffic noticable during the nights. We walked all the way to pier 39, which was almost just one straigth line and allthough we are not experienced walkers at all it was very nice and just about right with all the hills. We would highly recommand the Inn at Golden gate because you get a very nice stay for...

'Ideal place to stay when visiting San Francisco. Good price, friendly staff (Mira) who gives you all the info you want. Take the bus (close to the motel) to Pier 39 in less than a hour. Supermarket also nearby! You can park your car inside for an extra 10$.'

'The rooms are inexpensive. That's about the only positive thing I can say. There is minimal staff. I checked in with a virtual service desk. The rooms are not cleaned daily. The facilities are poorly maintained. The toilet clogged immediately. The shower sprayed everywhere and was barely usable. There was no air conditioning: the room was hot the entire time. There are no amenities to speak of. No breakfast, no gym. Just a microwave and a fridge. I would not stay there again.'
