'My booking was lost, but hotel solved it by giving a room till they solved the problem. It took over an hour to check in.
Restaurant is great, staff did their best. Beijing duck and pleasant wines for an ok budget. House atmo was very pleasant, corridor in cellar to room had unpleasant smell.
Pools had not opened. Kids club was still closed, this I found out locally. No mentioning by booking.

Located 2 hour drive North of Beijing in a remote village close to the Great Wall, the guesthouse is perfect for a getaway from the busy capital.
The rooms are new with nice facilities and a small courtyard for each room makes it very private.

'Excellent overall very kind personnel but not very well catered to foreign tourism as per language.
But they all did their best and had translating gadgets to help out.
Also the food was good but restaurant would close to early and not provide room service even though in the room they advertise it.'

'Check in was ok although a long line with only 2 ppl in front desk. It was prepaid w/double breakfast but the next day the breakfast site could not find my record so the bill was sent to my room. Later then I received a call from front desk to ask how to pay the room fee etc. I replied it was prepaid and then I sent my receipt to front desk, then front desk said they need to verify with if I need to pay or not with financial dept to check if they receive fund or not. No information was replied...

"The place is very reasonable priced.
Location: 10-15 minute walk to nearest subway and 1 hour ride away from the city centre. But it is next to a crossroad so if find it difficult to sleep with noise this might be a deal breaker. Price wise the location is great.

The personnel is very friendly. There is 24/7 someone behind the desk. The personnel is very helpfull with questions like trips and restaurants. English is not their strong suit. But simple stuff, check in, check out or needed supplies goes just fine (with translator if necessary). I have not asked difficult questions in my 1 week stay. I had zero problems communicating. 10 out of 10 service experience from me.
