'We found the cabin to be clean and the beds comfortable. The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. 'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. 'This is an older property well maintained. You can feel the history in its building. The room I had was a double queen and had a sitting room. It's nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The bathroom was very lux. High end finishes. The beds were comfortable with FULL SIZE pillows. Much appreciated. Am planning on returning soon.'

'Our stay was incredible. We were met by Kim when we arrived to check in and she was amazing. We upgraded our room, got extremely helpful advice and tips. We loved loved loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and had a great chat after supper sitting by the fire in the lounge. Kim gave us great information about the hotel and its family history, as well as some fun stories about hosting the hockey kids who come to play in town.
