'What a wonderful trip at a wonderful house. It really is not only a relaxing and cozy home, but an architecturally unique experience. 'The Read Retreat was a perfect little cabin with all the “essentials!” It is “UP” the mountain on a few twisty roads but, it’s not a bad drive at all and is in a good location to surrounding areas. We had lots of deer sightings and one black bear as well! I would highly recommend the Read Retreat!'

'We had a pleasant stay at this mountain cabin on Beech Mountain. The property offered everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway.The beds were quite comfortable. The cabin's layout was particularly well-designed with two full bathrooms downstairs, which was incredibly convenient for our group.Being so conveniently located to the resort made it easy to come and go throughout our stay.
