'I really loved staying at this property. It felt like home away from home. It was very peaceful, staff were super friendly and caring and breakfast and dinner was good. One thing that will stick with me was the treatment I received. Staff always checked if I had a pleasant stay and how my day was going or if I needed anything. The overall experience for me was a 9.5 out of ten (There's always room for improvement).'

'De algehele ruimte is prima, het matras en de hoofdkussens waren goed. Een plafondventilator en een staande ventilator aanwezig en voldoende. Geen airco. Het sanitair voldoende maar goedkoop, alles afgewerkt met heel dun plastic (douchecabine, wc bril). Service is goed. Waar je rekening mee moet houden is de geluidsoverlast. Honden, verkeer, eigen verhuur van auto's en luid piepende en krakende tussendeuren. De 4 kamers liggen dicht tegen elkaar aan en direct langs de weg en het eigen...

'The three families (including 4 kids ages 3-12) in our group had a wonderful time at Playa del Sol! We enjoyed the quiet location and clean, comfortable accomodations! Iz and the PDS family took great care of us, including snorkeling and fishing trips, and delicious food and drink! We hope to return!'

'For the prices we paid, the room was small. If we wanted to watch tv we would have to plug the mini refrigerator out by to plug in the tv. When we ask for the AC remote we were told it an extra $20 a night for AC. The shower had very low pressure and the shower head need to be clean. '

'Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did.'
