It’s also centrally located to where you can get back to downtown and up to Secret Beach and the far north end of the island. The host Karen and her team was outstanding. Super responsive to anything we needed. It is also located right across from Pur which was super convenient! We will be back to this property!!'

Our arrival was chaotic: the caretaker Desmond ghosted us at the San Pedro ferry dock despite promising to pick us up by boat. We had to arrange our own taxis and golf cart. Upon reaching the house we discovered no running water, raw sewage backup in the downstairs bathroom, a worker occupying one bedroom (uncomfortable with teens in our group), leaking...

'What a beautiful place from which to explore Placencia!We booked la rotonda for a family birthday bash and loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable (although most a bit small, except for the one king bed). The house has been recently remodeled, with a modern well-equipped kitchen, two spacious dining areas (one indoors, one on a screened porch) and a comfortable living area.
