'We had an issue that the safe did not function. We reported it straight away and the member of staff went and reported it to the manager. Sadly nothing was done and we had to carry valuables with us all the time which was a bit inconvenient . Other than that we found it to be clean quiet well presented and very convenient for the train. Excellent sausage and mash in the Bistro. We would not hesitate to return. Please note that they do not offer breakfast of any kind but there are several cafes...

'Have stayed 4 times recently and always found this to be good value pub accomodation. Sadly, once again the biggest issue was the a/c controls. This time I had a completely non responsive control so I was stuck with the a/c blowing away on its existing setting for 2 days and unable to change it. Also unable to turn it off completely as the power supply is external to the room. I know the a/c people were in last week to supposedly fix all these problem controls but it didn't happen. 'My Wife & her twin sister left their passports in the safe at the hotel and only noticed at check-in at the airport( 10 hours later lol), the staff at the hotel headed up by David came to the rescue and very kindly returned their passports to them at the airport via an uber they could not have been any more helpful. The food, atmosphere and staff over the 12 day trip were fantastic can defo recommend KW & DW'

'Nice room but check-in was confusing. This is a restaurant/bar with a few hotel rooms - signage to check in goes to an eating area, nobody around until a bartender in the other room alerted someone. Otherwise it was a good stay!'

'I stayed here once before and in my memory I was pretty happy back then. The room that I had now was not in a good condition, dirty walls that needed painting and also the furniture was dirty and have a lot of stains. Also housekeeping could do a better job as it was far from spotless. Breakfast looked nice but not much healthy options. They do offer laundry service, but it is crazy expensive (more expensive than most five star hotels). Based on this stay, I will not return!'
