'The cabin was cozy, clean, and location was amazing.'

'Starting with the positives, location of the hotel was an advantage for our planned activities in Asheville. Convenient to interstates & attractions. We were greeted promptly. Friendly staff. Indoor pool. As far as negatives, our room was not quite finished on our arrival after the stated check-in time. Our bathroom toilet had not been cleaned (urine still in the bowl). 'I thought you could tell that the property was vintage. It was still clean and the breakfast was fresh and the parking was plentiful.'

'The property had an electrical issue which caused the elevators to be out & no lighting in the parking area. We weren’t notified in advance of this issue and my elderly father had a hard time getting to his room due to the elevator outage. The beds were very uncomfortable and feels like the springs are popping out. The pillows were old and bunched up. The overnight stay was less than desirable.'

'Breakfast was good and dining area clean. Room was fine but the cable was out for a day and night plus the power went out. I will say the staff was very polite even though we were irritable '

'The Reed room was very nice with fireplace, jetted tub and private Mountain View. It is a grand old lady so u do hear footsteps and noise above and around but for the most part it was a nice stay. Breakfast was great and staff very pleasant.'

'The downtown location of this hotel is incredible - you can walk to restaurants, shops, and breweries. Parking was easy, the room was TO DIE for, the whole property is incredibly clean, tbe breakfast is delicious, there’s coffee/tea/water all the time, the patio between houses is super nice, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was amazing. 15/10, literally cannot wait to go back.'

'Rooms are beautiful, clean, very comfortable beds. We loved the robes. Mountain View was worth it. Hotel service was excellent, we enjoyed that. Only disappointment was not being able to schedule a trail ride or carriage ride, we requested it, called and left a message with no call returned. It also wasn’t available on the website to make reservations for that, which would be very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel, we will return again. '
