The staff was so attentive and offered suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Even the turn down service and chocolate at the end of the day was the perfect touch. We cannot wait to return! 'My favorite hotel in Charleston. Antique feel. Rooms are small, but that’s expected in an antique hotel. It’s beautifully decorated and convenient to all of downtown Charleston.'

'I was shocked at the location. I'm glad I didn't plan to walk to the historic area, as it was not safe. The room was shockingly small, too small for even a bedside table to ut your glasses or phone on. It was made of concrete. This made it very loud in the room and uncomfortable. The bathroom door was basically for show and did not feel private. I would not stay here again. I would sleep in my car before paying to sleep there. '
