'This was a budget accommodation so I wasn’t expecting much. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. I did not expect a leaky roof when it rained. Also a parking space was provided but no signage was visible informing others the spaces were for paying guests, so others used our space.'

'The house is very comfortable and easy to stay at with lots of thoughtful touches. It was lovely and clean and a great kitchen. We did not have kids but noticed the cot, high chair, and kids books/activities. The supermarket and post office are very close and convenient. National Park is nearby but we did not go as busy with family. On previous visits to Athelstone we have enjoyed hiking in the park and saw koalas.'

'Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms - one was a bit tired and had a safety lock broken (so I requested a room change) the other one more modern. Staff was very helpful in accomodating the room change. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from outside (hotel is an an area with a lot of nightlife around). Breakfast food was adequate. Fresh fruits, cereal, yoghurt and good hot buffet but limited pastry selection. Ambiance of bar and breakfast area lackluster.'

'Great location. Parking not great during busy periods and very tight. Hotel is aged and rooms (particularly bathroom) showing the need for a refresh. That said, it was mostly clean. '
