'You could tell if they were trying to renovate the property. The carpets were filthy. The floor is even in the room were dirty. I spilled some water on the floor. I grabbed a hand towel to clean it up and the white towel was brown from the dirt on the floor. Ask for the room to be cleaned and afterwards the floor was still dirty. There was also a missing smoke detector. I reported it twice to the desk and it still had not been replaced before I left the hotel. The clerks and Front Desk...

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
