'What a beautiful hotel! The style of the room ( I was in the Horse Racing style room) was amazingly done, modern but with traditional features, the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous! Very chic! Will definitely return again. The staff were amazing from check in to requests, nothing was too much trouble. The smell of the lobby was devine. Breakfast was delicious with great choice and a wonderfully friendly waiter. Lovely stay thank you! '

'Nice room, nice pool, shame spa pool was closed on our visit. Great location for city centre and shopping, lovely staff. Have booked again in Dec for the Christmas Market and shopping. '

'Really enjoyed my stay, the staff were amazing, only issue (very minor) is the towels weren't the best. The material comes off and sticks to your skin. Other than that, I will gladly book another stay in the future.'

'Hotel Mercure went the extra mile to accommodate our need for a ground floor room for our disabled dog. All communications were prompt and courteous, and when we checked on the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. This all helped ease the issues of travelling with a beloved disabled pet and we really appreciated all they did for us. Would definitely recommend them, and definitely stay there again should we return to Chester. '

'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'
