Kies je hotel in Douglas County

'Rooms are OK, but not up to the standards of other Doubletree properties. Staff was great - couldn't have been more helpful. I would give the team 5 stars!'

'The property is need of some atttention, getting pretty run down. The hair dryer and smoke alarm were both missing from our room.'

'All in all the property was clean and staff was cordial. The property was somewhat overpriced @ $195 per nite in my opinion. Elevator was inoperable the morning we left and of course we were on the 3rd (top) floor. I realize these things happen but being 77 and wife 75 carrying several pieces of luggage down 3 flights is not a pleasant experience.'

'Love the space for breakfast and lobby. Didn’t like that. The shower was a rainfall shower, especially when you don’t want to wash your hair and there was no door on the shower so it was freezing otherwise great place.'

'Second time staying here. It is clean, staff is friendly and they accommodate my dog. Will stay again.'

'DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. When I first checked in I inquired about the workout facilities they promoted on their website only to find that not only were they located in another building, but they were not currently in working order. I absolutely was dumbfounded, though, when I checked into my room. I was first greeted by the smell, which I cannot even describe. The bathroom ceiling had been leaking, and the ceiling had disintegrated and fallen to the floor and into the tub, leaving a molding mess....

'We stayed at this hotel for one night on a roadtrip. It was well located, close to restaurants and attractions in Lawrence. The room and bed were very comfortable. Parking was convenient and free. The breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had. We will stay here again.'

'Our room was fine. Nice sheets and blankets. However the bathroom floor was dirty. Pubic hairs along the shower. It looked like it had not been swept and mopped in quite a while. We got in late and just wanted sleep. That’s why I did not bring it up at the property.'

'Excellent property. Owners very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean basement apartment with comfortable bed and living room sofa. We really appreciated the full kitchen and nice big refrigerator as well.'

'I enjoyed a quiet stay. The place was very clean and I loved the old school theme “back in time”.'
