'The royal orchid, one hotel has always been my go to hotel when visiting Guam. I have noticed over the years that the hotel is that a rundown state.
Upon check in I was greeted with a very warm and welcoming staff. Very kind and professional. We checked into our 1st room (#636) as we started to settle in I saw a small roach on the floor and killed. When I opened the refrigerator to place beverages multiple roaches of various sizes came out of the cabinet the refrigerator was in. I immediately...

'The room was clean and quiet, the flooring beautiful, the view gorgeous, the beds comfy and luxurious. The AC and TV worked just fine and the staff were friendly. It's also an easy walk to the beach and coffee shop.
I would've given the hotel 5 stars, except their boiler was out and there was no hot water. I was informed of this when I checked in, but it was late and I didn't have a backup hotel plan. Fortunately, the water was lukewarm, not cold. '

'Dusit Thani Guam is a true slice of paradise; secure, immaculate, and thoughtfully run. What sets it apart is the people, with Chamorro and Filipino hospitality at its finest, genuine, attentive, and quietly exceptional. It is the kind of place you return to without hesitation, and one I would confidently recommend. A few beachside convenience spots nearby (like right by the beach) for quick essentials would make the experience even more seamless. '
