'What a wonderful place to stay. The staff and facilities are top notch.'

'Hotel New Grand is old school hospitality, where a guests is treated like a celebrity. They are all amazing at their job, with their kindness, attention to detail, and the pleasant atmosphere they help create. Of all the hotels I've stayed at, there are only 2 other hotels that come close. Easy 5/5 stars, and definitely a hotel I'd recommend. '

'Good dinner buffet included. Nice atmosphere in hotel.'

'Fantastic location and the private onsen was amazing. Staying at the lake did limit dining options (great for lunches, not so great for dinners), but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Only complain is that one of the a/c unit wasn't working and it was stifling hot in this room, so my kids slept on the futons in the living room instead.'

'The hotel was just magical, from start to finish we loved every minute of HAKONE Setsugetsuka, especially the private Onsen. We also used the bath in our room which was fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel wish is right next to the train station so great if you don't want to walk to far.'
