'Hotel is a little tired compared to last time we stayed. Food also not as good as it was. Needs some TLC to bring it back to more than a wedding venue or golf retreat.'

'Oud, maar schoon en goede voorzieningen.'

'Friendly personal'

'Hotel is central place for the whole city. I do not like to order and pay for diner in advance, ordering more means paying several times. Room is big but could have better interior design'

'Personeel was vriendelijk efficient leuk soms ...als ze er waten! In de bar ontbrak de brdiening het restaurant verwachtte ons niet. Tja dan kan een kleine lamer een bezemkasst worden bij wijze vsn spreken. De krant lag smorgens voot de deut zoalslafgesprokenafgesproken en bij het ontbijt'

'Behulpzaam personeel, mooi aangekleed in kerstsfeer & erg sfeervol'

'Older hotel...but well kept and clean. Handy that it's located close to the main routes. Comfortable swimming pool and wellness. Excellent breakfast.'

'Very Friendly staff and nice restaurant'

'Nice hotel with plenty of parking space. Good beds and quiet room. Bathroom was a bit in a bad condition.'

'Parkeren is normaal £21 als je tot 24 uur wil parkeren bij de services maar omdat je een kamer hebt geboekt voeren ze dat in hun systeem en is het gratis. Kamer was ruim en netjes voor de prijs die we betaalde. Zal deze zeker weer gebruiken als we onderweg terug zijn naar Nederland. '

'Where do I start… It’s nóthing like the pictures as advertised. The whole place is rundown. Threading carpets, wallpaper missing/torn off, rickety doorhandles…Booked for two persons 3 nights. In the room: leaky broken showertap in a slippery bath. 1 mug for “complimentary” coffees & tea (read cheapest brand instant possible). The beds… because I had to remake the bed, I saw the matrass.. I don’t wish that upon my worst enemy. Incredibly gross. And a bad matress to sleep on as well. Breakfast...

'Broomcloset type kamer. Geen kast, nauwelijks bewegingsruimte of plaats voor bagagr'

'Prijs kwaliteit verhouding een 10! Kamer was okay, matras slecht, verder wel schoon. Lift was vies. ‘‘s nachts ging alarm af, dat was schrikken. Mooi uitzicht uit hotelraam. Goed ontbijt. Aardige mensen die het hotel runnen! Voelde me ook weer echt in Engeland!'

'I had to pay for confirmation, even though I already booked with a credit card. The room was meh, with leaky faucets that didn't work most of the time. The bed was small and the room was noisy. It was OK for the one night we were staying, but I don't think we'll come back in the future'

'Prachtig hotel met goede service . Het eten was prima.'

'Goed Hotel Met Restaurant als Buurman '

'The White Horse Inn is an attractive hotel in a convenient location, with the added benefit of ample free parking. Sadly, however, the hospitality did not match the charm of the property. Hotels of this kind usually stand out because of their warm, personal welcome. Here, the opposite was true. The reception was reserved and unwelcoming, and communication was kept to the bare minimum. Sunday lunch was the highlight of my stay: fresh, flavoursome and very enjoyable. As a result, and having read...
