'It's definitely showing some wear and tear, but the whole property, and our room were both exceptionally clean, and the A/C worked great, kept the room cool and dry - I loved that there was no carpet in the room. Breakfast was more extensvie than expected for the price, although the reconstituted eggs didn't do it for us, they had sausage, a waffle machine, yogurt, cereal and fruit, a nice surprise at this price point. It's an excellent value in Bay City, esp for an overnight with two dogs'

'The property was real clean and up to date. Breakfast was good. The only complaint I have is while we were eating breakfast, the employee sat at the front desk and coughed as if she was dying, it was so disgusting. My husband and I stopped our breakfast early because it was so unpleasant. '

'Just wanted a little weekend getaway near the water. Matagorda is not crazy busy like Galveston so had a nice quiet weekend even on the 4th of July. Could see fireworks from the deck. The house was clean and cool. Would stay here again.'

'House is very clean , the host responds very quickly and lives on the first floor which was a little uncomfortable at first but ended up being more than fine , very friendly and the fenced back yard was a big plus with our dogs . The big L shape porch is perfect , the interior of the house is colorful and fun , we ll be back '
