'Everything breathes Grandeur, but the building needs updating towards today's standards. Furniture should be kept, but totally renovated, as also the decoration. Curtains were not even covering the whole windows.'

'Beautiful and quiet place among the busy and noisy streets of Thamel. Our room was very nice furnitured and clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

'Location made shops and local attractions convenient. Very helpful with diet restrictions. Let the hotel reception help organise tours inside Kathmandu and in the surrounding area. There local knowledge meant trips were much cheaper than with tour operators. '

'This is my favourite hotel in Thamel and I have stayed here many times. It’s situated in a quiet corner of Thamel away from the busy streets. The rooms are nice and big, the breakfast is very nice and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. '
