'We stayed in a one bedroom suite and were amazed by the beautiful configuration of the room, its size, and breathtaking water views. From check-in to checkout the service/staff was wonderful. What a wonderful find! The snorkeling around the reef was amazing and the beach itself was just perfect. Every amenity that we could have wanted was available. The Resort itself was also more magnificent than we had expected. Our stay was a ten (10) and we will definitely be returning!!'

'The property is beautiful. The staffare kind and so helpful. As a vegetarian, this is the first resort I have gone to where there was so many food options for me. The chef at each of the properties 21 restaurants made delicious meals and desserts while observing my dietary requests. Thank you so much for making this trip so memorable.'

'Beautiful and quiet beach. The food and drinks were excellent and delicious. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the sister hotel that was closer to shopping and other restaurants. Note that all taxis are cash only. It's $20 from the airport for each person. Our room was great; we had a few minor electrical problems, but we adjusted. '

'Royal West Indies is my home away from home. Been going back to this resort for 25 years, since it was first built. Beautiful grounds, pools, beachfront. Nice restaurant and bar on site. One of the best prices on Grace Bay, not too big, not too small. Like in the Little Red Riding Hood story, it's just right.'

'The Sands was a fine hotel but they fell short in several areas. Staff was generally unfriendly- specifically restaurant, store and front desk. There was an ant problem outside the room each night and we did find a few ants in our room. Room layout is awesome! Location also helpful. We like a resort feel and felt The Sands did a poor job of making guests feel pampered. Was very difficult to get beach service and when we did it arrived in a paper takeout bag. Also, there are very few game...

'Clean and modern rooms. Hotel is located "center ice" for restaurants and shopping. Short convenient walk to beach, with hotel-reserved loungers and umbrellas, very helpful. 'Can’t say enough good things about this place - starting with the front desk ladies, so friendly and helpful. Then Daniel ! Such an asset for this place. He took me daily to the beach on the golf cart! Rooms were extremely clean, well stocked with kitchen items. Complimentary bottle of champagne!! Didn’t use the pool as the beach chairs/umbrellas were located on the BEST part of the beach. Could not have asked for a better stay.'
