'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'The lean to and surrounding property looked fantastic on the listing, but it was even better than we anticipated. This place had everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We stayed for five days and it went by too fast. We hope to come back again.'

'Delightful cabin located near town and on the main route to Lake Placid. Extremely comfortable with a beautiful view. The cabin is beautifully restored while keeping the charm of it's era. And the host is outstanding!'

'this is one of the places that you swear up and down it looks better in the pictures then it’s going to when you get there but I assure you it’s actually better than the pictures look! my father-in-law and I had a great time owner was very nice and the space is very quiet and peaceful'

'This place is amazing! Has everything you could ask for. Private place yet in the the middle of Saranac on the lake. The owners are great... Great fishing from shore and paddle boat. Caught fresh fish to eat! Would love to come back here.Owners were readily accessible and very nice. '
