'We had a great stay!!! Everything in the house was exactly as described and every amenity was provided. Great location! We walked to our daughters graduation at NMU, we walked to restaurants, we walked to get ice-cream and we walked every evening to McCartys for a beach walk. We loved everything about it!'

Hosts have attention to detail; artsy decorations, games for kids and adults, reading material, wood swing, fire pit, etc. As pics show, decks in front and side of house as well as sun room for chilly mornings or inclement weather. 'This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! The owner was great to work and and quick to reply! Our family absolutely loved it here! Music on the Manitou on Wednesday night was a hit! Loved every...

'We LOVED this property. We frequent Marquette often because we have a child at NMU and this house, by far, was our favorite place. It is in a great location for visiting the downtown area and NMU. The view was amazing. The house was clean. Amy was so nice making sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the enclosed backyard for our dog. We hope to stay again in the future!'

'We came for our son’s NMU graduation. We had plenty of room for our family and grandparents. There were 8 of us and we were very comfortable. We found the path to the lake and took several beautiful long walks along the beach. The kitchen was well stocked- we did quite a bit of cooking and sitting outside was beautiful!'

'The Dam House offered the seclusion, privacy and tranquility that we were seeking. We enjoyed evening campfires, kayaking and relaxation. Joyce was kind enough to offer the use of they’re property on Lake Superior’s Big Bay. We spent a couple of days sitting on the beach and taking walks & rock hunting…on one day we didn’t see another person. The Dam House was clean and all of the amenities were as described. We would definitely consider another stay.'
