'We love the Vine Inn in Davis. It is so close to many, many cafes and coffee shops. Frozen yogurt is right around the corner, UC Davis campus is just a few blocks walk as is the Saturday Farmers' Market. The Inn is simple and comfortable. We have stayed here twice now and plan to stay here whenever we come to visit family in Davis. Breakfast is simple boxed cereal, bagels, etc. - easy enough to skip and go across the street to a really good restaurant for a heartier breakfast if desired.'

'If you are scent sensitive this is not the hotel for you. The cleaning supplies used to clean the room are very strong and pungent, the window do not open so there is no way to air out the room, other then leaving the door open. Aside from that the hotel is amazing. The location is great. We ate breakfast in the boat and the food was decent'

'Beautiful building, clean inside, nice enough. I do think for such a great old house they are missing the mark on decor. The entry and the upstairs landing area (hall) could use a little life. Maybe just a bench with pillows for a pop of color in the hall upstairs and a colorful floral arrangement in the entry. A few small tweaks to make the space more inviting. '

'Had a great stay, check in went real fast! Room was fine, its a lil run down BUT everything was clean! Shower had good water pressure and lots of tv channels to choose from,bed was comfortable, price was also very good! Would definitely recommend, big thumbs up!!!!!.'

'Booked via app 1 hour before arriving; quick checkin, room was clean and enough space for family of three. Airco a bit too loudy, but working well. Only missing item was a water cooker. Value for money.'
