Neem voor het ontbijt een duik in de prachtige Middellandse Zee!
Dit is een ruim, stijlvol ingericht appartement aan het water met een prachtig uitzicht op de historische grote haven van Malta. Accommodatie bestaat uit een ruime woonkamer (uitgerust met TV, DVD, stereo en draadloze internetverbinding) en aangrenzende eethoek. Grote deuren vanuit de woonkamer en eetkamer komen uit op het balkon en bieden een prachtig 180 graden uitzicht op de Grand Harbour van Malta. De open luxe keuken is uitgerust met alle benodigde apparatuur. Slaapgelegenheid bestaat uit een grote slaapkamer (tweepersoonsbed) met badkamer en suite, een tweede slaapkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een derde slaapkamer met een eenpersoonsbed. Het appartement is kindvriendelijk, met verschillende benodigdheden voor een baby, zoals kinderbed, baby-wisselaar en kinderstoel. Een parkeerplaats is ook beschikbaar.

Vittoriosa (ook bekend als 'Birgu') maakt deel uit van de 'drie steden' met kwaliteitsrestaurants, wijnbars, musea en een authentieke Maltese omgeving, allemaal op loopafstand van het appartement.


Vervoer: als u van plan bent een auto te huren, is er een parkeerplaats beschikbaar in de onderliggende garage van het appartement.
Als alternatief vertrekken bussen regelmatig van Vittoriosa naar Valletta van waaruit bussen vertrekken naar het hele eiland.

Ruim en goed uitgerust appartement. Interessante ligging en een schitterend uitzicht.

Een ruim appartement met alle nodige voorzieningen. Noodzakelijke airco is in alle kamers aanwezig. Een geweldig uitzicht op land en water, heel rustgevende omgeving. Goedkope ferry naar Valletta (+ gratis toegang tot lift naar de 'upper gardens') of watertaxi op wandelafstand. Rechtstreekse buslijn naar Valletta eveneens in de onmiddellijke nabijheid. Enig mogelijke nadeel van de rustige ligging: het appartement is volledig uitgerust om zelf te koken, maar het aanbod van voedingsmiddelen in de buurt is beperkt. In een 'Convenience Shop' op een kleine km afstand, te vergelijken met een nachtwinkel bij ons, kan je basisproducten vinden, maar op een beperkt aanbod fruit na zijn er geen verse produkten (groenten, vlees, aardappelen, ...) te vinden. Wel een voldoende aanbod aan (vooverpakte) charcuterie en kaas. Anderzijds is dit perfect op te vangen door de zeer betaalbare eetgelegenheden. Voor westerlingen die gewoon zijn rechts te rijden en het stuur links te hebben, lijkt het ons niet aangeraden om zelf met de auto rond te rijden. Openbaar vervoer werkt prima, ook al moet je voldoende tijd voorzien in verhouding tot de beperkte afstanden.

Super appartement

Het uitzicht op de haven en Valetta is 24 uur per dag een feest. De hele dag bootjes en zelfs cruiseschepen kijken die voorbij komen. De locatie is perfect. Superleuk om met traditionele bootjes naar Valetta te varen. Je kan er direct opstappen en wegvaren. Het terras van de Baraka Gardens is goed bevallen. Als je met de ferry naar Valetta gaat is de lift gratis. Het appartement is ruim en rustig en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben prima geslapen op de aanwezige bedden. Auto in de parkeergarage met beveiliging. Vriendelijk ontvangen door Francis. Zelfs al boodschappen in de koelkast. Er zijn wat kleine winkeltjes in de buurt maar die zijn op zondag dicht. De Convenience store is elke dag lang open en kwartiertje lopen langs de mooie haven. Ook diverse restaurantjes in de buurt en overal een prima Maltese keuken. Goede uitvalbasis voor heel Malta, weg van de massa. Met de bus en boot is op zich alles goed te doen, maar voor midden en noorden eiland een auto gehuurd. Fijne vakantie gehad op Malta!

Water’s Edge is the perfect apartment for a mature family and friends. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with local Maltese culture. The apartment had all the amenities and comforts of a home with spectacular views of the waterfront. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable home away from home. The best part for us was the private swimming area below the apartment! Highly recommend!

The property was very well located, large and quiet, no passing traffic. The views from the balcony and lounge room really made our stay.Well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses. Super spacious apartment on the waterfront.

Apartment was modern, bright and very spacious with an amazing view across the water. Everything we could have needed was supplied, including, unfortunately, an umbrella! Would need a few more chairs on the balcony if five were staying there. The waterfront restaurants were great and if you want peace and quiet Vittoriosa is the place to stay. It was fun going to Valetta on the gondolas to explore the bustling city and also to get provisions and onward travel. A great short break.

Connie was very responsive by email and her father Francis explained things when we checked in. Very nice.Francis had some water and food there to get us through our first night. Security staff was always friendly, but we always felt safe in the area of Birgu. The mattresses could be replaced, but that may just be us. I would stay here again. Don't worry about driving

This is a fantastic apartment in a really nice area of Malta. Check in was great with Francis meeting our taxi near a restaurant and then taking us to the parking spot for the apartment and then the apartment. This was great because it would have been very difficult to find otherwise but once you know where everything is then it is easy. I won't repeat all the good things said about the apartment as they are all accurate - it really is a lovely place with superb views. The restaurats nearby are excellent and theTuna I had at Cargo was fantastic ( I had it twice). Getting to Valetta is easy on the Dgħajsas which were 3 euro per person and great fun or the ferry (which was easier for by 82 year old mother in law) for 2 euro each. The only mistake we made was not staying longer as we wanted to see the rest of Malta and were worried about parking and driving. Because of this we hired a car and stayed on Gozo for the second part of our trip. While this was very nice Gozo is a bit small. We would have been better staying here and using it as a base to explore Malta. The driving to and from the apartment was easy and the general standard of driving in Malta was fine (we had heard that it was a bit crazy) - we never felt unsafe. There is a dedicated parking spot that was easy to park in and not tight. Overall a fantastic stay.

I would recommend this property to family and friends. Perfect location with amazing views. The underground car park meant we had no paryworries with our rental car and the entire building was fully secure. Everything you needed was available. Great support and communication from the hosts.

The location is amazing with great parking included, easy access to small boats to take you to Valetta etc. The bus is minutes walk away. Great apartment! You will not be disappointed!

Apartment was excellent! Great view over the harbour, with a swimming area just a few yards from the front door. All the important things were there - aircon in all bedrooms and living room, wifi was great & shower excellent. Check-in with Francis was comprehensive, even though we arrived very late. And we were extremely pleased to received the Welcome Pack with water, milk, bread, ham cheese etc. This was a great location , much less hectic than Valetta. Highly recommended!

Wonderful apartment with swim area at the front door!

We are from the US, a family of 5 (parents and 3 young adult children), and this was our first time in Malta. We loved this apartment. Francis, the father of the property owner, met us outside on our first day and showed us all around the apartment, introduced us to the security guards, etc. The apartment is just as described, very nicely appointment and has so many extras for kids, the beach, etc. Our favorite thing about this property was the fact that there is a swimming area right out the front door! It is not a touristy area at all, but locals were swimming there night and day. We also went for a dip at the end of most days and it was so refreshing! The location of this apartment is wonderful, the area is so lovely and historic, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay in a great apartment

The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and exceptionally clean. The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly. The apartment was great - the photos don’t really do it to its credit. Really handy for Valletta (€2 boat across the harbour) and it felt like we had our own pool with the harbour outside the front door (cordoned off for swimmers). There was a parking space and air conditioning throughout - we will definitely have a revisit!

The Most Wonderful Stay!

After spending two weeks excavating at the Roman Domus, I had the privilege to stay at this wonderful property! The hosts were exceptional, very communicative and thoughtful. They provided grocery staples so I did not have to immediately shop, and everything one needed for a comfortable stay was thought of included swim gear for accessing the swim area outside which was so nice! We loved spending time sitting on the deck and admiring the breathtaking view. We did cook some meals and found everything one needed. We really loved this property!
