'This house is fantastic! It's very clean, with a nice size kitchen, living room, dining room, and screened in back porch. We loved using the hot tub, cooking on the grill, playing video games on the 1-up arcade cabinet, and watching some TV (there is one in the living room AND one on the porch). It's also very close to East Stroudsburg, so running into town to get food, go shopping, or do activities is very easy. 'Fabulously clean and comfortable home! Absolutely everything you need. When I asked about cooking oil they said yes, and just to make sure, they delivered additional cooking oil the first evening of our stay, that's the kind of response we got! Perfect location for us as we were within 1 hour or less drive of 3 state parks and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area! And the hot tub - so clean, water so clear, no chlorine smell, they clean it after each family leaves! Plus 4 hammocks...

'We enjoyed our stay in Sparta, NJ!! The house was very comfortable, the kids loved the games and hot tub! We loved the lake access and spent time taking out boats and enjoying the water. 'We had an Absolutely perfect weekend stay. From an easy contactless checkin to a very clean home even the hot tub/spa and grill. From the beginning, the owner/mgr responded immediately to ALL texts regarding ANY questions/concerns I had. 'Overall the property was as advertised with just minor wear and tear from previous renters. Nice house in a nice location. Pretty much everything you need is in this rental. Communication was good from Nicholas, the property manager. There was only 3 of us, so it was a little more house than when we needed, but was still good and would definitely accommodate a larger family.'

'The Cottage was so clean and welcoming. There was a lot of space for our family of four and dog to relax, play games, read, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms are beautiful and the open kitchen and living space made it easy to spend time together comfortably. The basement game room was perfect for our young kids and the entire family enjoyed hiking down to the creek to explore.'

"This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty in there. I wouldn't blacklight it. The location was convenient. This is the kind of place you stay when there's no other option and that's why I chose it. My sister joked that the M stands for Murder. "
