'I arrived at dusk and the fairy lights were on, the interior was lit and there was classical music playing! Everything inside was well-thought out and cosy and the view across the mountains from inside, as well as from the porch, was spectacular. I spent my days, reading, walking, researching and chilling out by the log burner. I loved it!'

'This place was incredible. It is exactly where you want to be in Blowing Rock with restaurants, bars, and shops all around you. The restaurant downstairs is very nice and you don't hear noise from there at all. The furnishings are all very nice and upscale. Some of the nicest amenities I've had at a rental. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for friends and family trips.'

'Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!'

'Place was beautiful. Rained the whole time but that was okay, too. Rock slide due to rain was a major hassle getting around. Owner was nice but a couple of snafus/issues could have made things even nicer. No directions on how to control thermostat. Couldn't get TV on for 24 hrs. which caused other problems but not owner's fault. Just wasted a lot of time trying to get things working. Felt safe & secure. Could have used more than 2 washcloths & 2 towels for 2 adults staying on ground floor for 3...

'Stayed at this beautiful cabin with my family for a week. Had a blast! There was a couple small issues but the owners were all over it and had it fixed same day. We were a little too early for the fish but enjoyed the creek everyday. Overall a great experience.'
