'Stuga was a great find for our extended family. The house was recently renovated and in addition to high-end finishes, everything had been updated, so the place felt clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.'

'Perfect location for ski vacation. House was clean, close to resort. Quick drive to restaurants, looking forward to staying again! '

'We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. Some of us even said it would be perfect for a small...

'This house is very rundown. The house was very musty and smelled. Some windows would not shut/lock. The kitchen drawers wouldn’t open unless you lifted up on the Formica counter top. The place is listed as traditional Farmhouse, however we have a family 150 yr old farmhouse and this is not what I consider to be that. 'A gorgeous house, well designed, incredibly comfortable & perfectly appointed. Responsive staff at the mgmt company too. We will be back!'

'Great location, plenty of space, everything in house worked as described. Thank you!!'

Also appreciated the selection of fragrance-free, natural soaps, shampoo/conditioner, cleaning supplies, etc. We can't wait to come back.'

'We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...

'Wonderful location and spot to stay. Thank you!!'

'We spent two weeks at this beautiful property. Highlights included beautiful views and sunsets, comfortable mattresses, a large kitchen, efficient office with a large screen and power connections, and a thoughtful host. Marian makes the comfort of her guests a priority. She asked for suggestions about things this new rental still needed, and I gave her ideas. Packages showed up three times while we there! Property manager Jake delivered them to us. It’s obvious that this is a property that is...

'Beautiful property. Very neat and tidy'
