'Perfect stay for a weekend get away with your person. We went to The casino Saturday night and had a lazy day Sunday making snacks, watching the nascar race, then grilling and hot tubbing. The fireplace in the bedroom is romantic as it the fire pit by the hottub! We had a mobile massage therapist come in, she was great…and lives super close by, so she was there on short notice. 'Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain. '

'The ol' gun range cabin was nothing short of magical. The cabin its self was clean and nicely maintained. It has tons of character and is pretty cool. The hot tub was nice as well as the firepit area. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature this is your place.'

'The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn.'
