'Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. '

'It was a cozy, comfortable and relaxing cabin. The porch was a great place to congregate as well as the fire pit. Several of us really enjoyed the hot tub. One night we even roasted marshmallows over the fire pit! Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owners. We highly recommend!'

'Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin in a gated community! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring and enjoying the very beautiful and quiet lake. 'Great views from this home. Plenty of entertainment with the hot tub, foosball, ping pong table, TV, Internet and fire pit! We had a slight issue with the refrigerator door not closing all the way but we eventually figured out how to use it (it had a broken door flap that we had to manually close) but everything else was perfect. Close enough to all the major attractions such as Linville falls. We will visit again, thank you!'

'A friend told us to visit Roaring River and we were not disappointed. The room was great, the restaurant was great and the wine was great!! If you like dessert, you must try the wine milkshake (I was hesitant but it was delicious), and the funnel cake fries. Both were excellent!! We will be returning!! '

'This home was perfect for our annually family vacation. 14 of us. Plenty of room. One recommendation is a second frig either downstairs or in basement. One frig for that big of a home was a struggle. I would use it again for sure. '

'The place was amazing and clean. The view from the patio is just like the photos. One thing we had to get used to was no curtains on any of the windows. Also I was super excited for the patio couch set that’s in the photo but it wasn’t there when we arrived unfortunately. BUT everything was so beautiful and amazing we didn’t mind. '
