'Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain. '

'Great space and stay. Bed was comfortable. Pet friendly. The hot tub was amazing. Shower head needs to be updated. Twenty minute drive to Bryson City downtown. '

'The bathroom had no heat had to leave the door open so that it wouldn’t be so cold The TV didn’t work great but they did come and work on it Over all it was ok !!!'

'The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn.'

'The Motel was old but very comfortable and well located within Bryson City. The manager was very helpful and friendly. He had a map available of Bryson City with restaurants and other available areas of interest. He was most helpful. I would recommend this motel to others. '
