Appartement net gerenoveerd en online gezet in oktober 2016 (ik heb sinds 2003 twee andere appartementen te huur met uitstekende beoordelingen). Mooi huis van 55 m² gelegen in een historisch gebouw aan het begin van de Andrassy Avenue aan de kant van het Daek Ferenc-plein (de Andrassy Avenue werd uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed). De boulevard is de meest elegante van Boedapest en leidt naar het Heldenplein en het enorme park Varosliget. Alle internationale merken zijn aanwezig evenals alle ambassades van de stad hebben hun hoofdkantoor in de boulevard Andrassy. Restaurants, bars, monumentale theekamers, allemaal op korte afstand, evenals het Palazzo dell'Opera (150 meter) dat zich in zijn buitengevels kan meten met de Opera Garnier in Parijs. Het appartement ligt op 50 meter van de Basiliek van St. Stephen (de beroemde kathedraal van Boedapest), op 300 meter van de Donau en de beroemde Kettingbrug, op de kruising van de twee meest toeristische wijken (de 5e en 6e). De kruising van 3 metrolijnen ligt op 100 meter afstand, dus u bevindt zich in een zeer centrale positie om de meeste bezienswaardigheden te voet te bezoeken of gebruik te maken van alle openbaar vervoer op het Daek Ferenc-plein.
Mogelijkheid van privévervoer van / naar de luchthaven.
Het appartement is recentelijk en volledig gerenoveerd. Het is gelegen op de 3e verdieping met lift en bestaat uit een hal, een grote woonkamer met kitchenette, een badkamer met toilet en douche en een tweede badkamer met ligbad. Twee slaapkamers. Het plafond is dat van de historische Hongaarse gebouwen, 4 meter hoog, en geeft elke kamer een buitengewone breedte ten opzichte van het oppervlak; bovendien geven de zeer hoge ramen een uitzonderlijke helderheid. Het meubilair is trendy en maakt gebruik van ontwerpelementen van. De planten en diensten zijn gemaakt met materialen van het hoogste niveau. De atmosfeer combineert de moderniteit van het inrichtingsproject met de typisch Hongaarse kamers en van de antieke deuren en wit gelakte deuren en boiseries. Aan alle comfort is gedacht voor de toerist. HD-kabel-tv met internationale zenders. In de zomer heb je een perfecte airconditioning (airconditioning en bovendien plafondventilatoren in de slaapkamers). In de winter is het elektrische verwarmingssysteem aanwezig in elk compartiment. Zeer hoge snelheid WiFi-internettoegang, dus zelfs met de mogelijkheid om gratis via wathapp met iemand overal te gebruiken en met uw smartphone te praten. Het beddengoed en de handdoeken worden verstrekt, evenals het keukentafelkleed. Elke apparatuur is aanwezig in de keuken: oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, broodrooster, waterkoker, keramische kookplaat, enz .... In de badkamer met ligbad treft u de wasmachine aan.

Stayed here for the Formula 1. Have been to Budapest for a short winter break and the hotel was far from all the sights, this property is in the best location for seeing everything and on the beautiful Andressy Avenue. The Italian across from the property was excellent, but if wanting to cook in the apartment it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely choose to stay here on my next visit.

Great Location

The apartment was very comfortable and the location was right in the heart of Budapest. It was very warm when we were there, and the air conditioning kept the apartment comfortable. Public transportation to anywhere in the city was very close to the apartment, and we were able to navigate easily. Just a note: there are definitely two bathrooms, but only one toilet. If you’re traveling with more than two people, this could be challenging. All in all, we were very comfortable in the apartment.

Fabulous stay

We visited Budapest for the formula one and had a beautiful stay! Claudios apartment is located in a fabulous area central to lots of beautiful food and drink places. It was closely located to a metro stop and bus stop. The checkin process was easy and we were left with all the information needed to enjoy the apartment. The facilities were exactly as described however the only downside was the lack of A/C in the main bedroom which was definitely needed in the 35degree heat!! Other than this I cannot fault the stay and had the perfect time. We would definitely look to stay in Claudios apartment again next time we visit Budapest!!

Excellent stay.

Had a great stay in this super central apartment. Location could not have been better. There was some electrical maintenance taking place in the building and construction work, but this had absolutely no impact on our stay and noise levels were minimal from all sides despite being right in the centre of town on the main street. The flat was lovely and clean and well kitted out. The shower was a little awkward but other than that there was nothing to complain about. The host was also very accommodating of with check in and check out and was super helpful with our transportation and providing relevant information. Great city and great apartment.

Nous avons ete tres bien recues. Appartement agreable pour 2 personnes. Tres bon services. Tres complet pour la vaisselle et les draps et serviettes. L'entree de l'immeuble meriterait d'etre raffraichit. Les 2 chambres sont trop exigues. L'appartement est tres bien situes et pret des transports publics. Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen. Zu Fuß erreicht man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und war für uns perfekt. Alles gepflegt. Ein bisschen hat uns eine Kaffeemaschine gefehlt. Über den Hausflur, der noch renoviert werden muss sehen wir gerne hinweg auch weil Claudio ein wunderbarer Gastgeber war. Good location, good apartment but bad building

My family and I decided (after paying VRBO 100% advance) to leave immediately after we reached the apartment. It was quite a setback, financially, mentally & physically but despite that, we decided that we would not stay there & ruin our first time Budapest experience. Where you stay while on holiday is an integral part of the holiday & since we didn’t feel entirely safe in the building, so we took the hard call and told the owner that we didn’t want to stay. He refunded 50% of the fee but the deposit is still pending (and so is the fee paid to VRBO. Now let me put things in perspective because the apartment may work for other travelers who don’t care about the things that family travelers would. The positives: This apartment is located in a really great location - very close to the station, the airport bus shuttle, the shopping & everything else. The apartment is neat, with all modern fittings and comforts. The negatives: The building feels like a low cost, run down tenement from inside and each floor is dark, dirty & dingy. You walk in from the bright main road into a dark passageway in the building which is lined with large trash cans. The tiny elevator is at the end of the passage where there are more large trash cans. The elevator is tiny and fits only 3 slim people or 2 people + 1 bag or 1 person with 2 bags only. Yes, it’s that tiny. The apartment has no view whatsoever and no privacy either. The blinds need to be drawn at all times because it faces into another apartment building and also because of the sunlight. There are 2 bathrooms but only 1 of those has a WC. There are maybe 6-7 tiny apartments on the floor and the entry to this apartment is strange. There is an iron security door with a grill that is shared by 3 apartments makes you feel like it’s not a very safe apartment complex. (The guy who came for the handover told me that I needed to keep this door locked maybe 10 times in the conversation). Overall, this was an exceedingly bad experience & I feel cheated. Had the site shown images of the pathway or the elevator area, I wouldn’t have booked this apartment. Even the reviews don’t seem trustworthy. Since each & every one of those were so positive, my guess is: only the best ones make it to the site; the bad ones don’t. VRBO has not been helpful - they claim that they’re only ‘facilitators’. Moreover, they’re refusing to refund even their own commission for a stay that never took place after telling me that they would

Well equipped in the heart of the city

Our welcome and tour around the property was great, the living area is very well spaced and it had everything we needed for ourselves and our 4 year old. Although the dishwasher wasn't working, we were advised of this in advance and it didn't detract from our stay. Although being so near Deak Ferenc Ter was lovely, as lots of people relax in the park in the evening, it could also be quite noisy at times, with revellers in the night, and deliveries and building work in the early morning. We woke with the dawn most mornings as the blinds let in a fair amount of the morning sun, so if travelling with a small child, I would recommend taking a travel blackout blind. The M1 metro was right outside, making it very easy to get around the city, though the walk up Andrassy Utca was also very pleasant.

Formidable appartement au centre de Budapest

Appartement agréable même si les parties communes de l'immeuble sont quelque peu austères...mais une fois la porte ouverte de l'appartement, vous trouverez un lieu de vie particulièrement confortable. Absolument rien ne manque, dans la salle de bain, la cuisine, les chambres. Appartement spacieux et extrêmement lumineux avec d'immense fenêtre laissant entrer le soleil tout au long de la journée. Les transports en commun sont accessibles depuis la rue ou se trouve l'appartement, métro, tramways, bus, nul besoin de marcher bien longtemps pour se rendre aux transports en commun. Supermarché à proximité, mais également de nombreux commerces (boulangeries, fast food, café, salon de thé....). Les photos sont conformes à l'appartement, tout est fidèle. Je recommande vivement l'accueil de Claudio, qui sait être présent depuis votre réservation jusqu'à votre départ. L'accueil est digne d'un hôte de haut standing. Une personne nous attendait à l'aéroport, elle nous a conduit jusqu'à notre navette, elle même nous a conduit jusqu'à l'appartement ou là une troisième personne nous a ouvert les portes de notre logement, tout en prenant un soin particulier pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement et les règles du logement....un vrai confort, vous vous laissez guider depuis votre descente de l'avion. Une personne était joignable tout au long de notre séjour pour les différentes questions de la vie quotidienne. Une adresse à retenir et à contacter pour vos séjours à Budapest. Merci à Claudio et à son équipe pour son accueil chaleureux.

Classy apartment

This is a classy apartment in an old building. It is easy to be put off by the entry way, but the apartment has been nicely refurbished. Someone was there when we arrived and showed us everything. It is in the heart of Budapest, so everything is within an easy distance. It is a big city, so can be noisy, including late night revellers. Public transportation is right outside the front door. The restaurants are plentiful and reasonable. The owner was responsive to all our inquiries, and check out was prompt and exactly when we asked for it. There is a (small) elevator. The kitchen is well equipped. The coffee maker is for espresso, but there is a funnel which we used to make drip coffee. Given the opportunity, we would gladly return to Budapest and stay in this apartment.

The apartment was very comfortable and easily accommodated four adults.

The location was perfect for first time visitors to Budapest, with access to two metro stations within 5 minutes walking distance. Claudio was an extremely congenial host, corresponding with us frequently and speedily regarding our questions, many of which had nothing to do with the rental.
