'Hotel is ok en het personeel is zeer aardig en behulpzaam. Kamer zijn netjes en ontbijt is prima verzorgd. Zeer groot minpunt is de ligging van het hotel. Hier hadden wij zelf niet goed naar gekeken. Rondom hotel is niets te doen en voor alles heb je een taxi nodig. Hadden, bleek later, in een oude recensie gelezen dat er een gratis shuttle busje zou rijden vanaf hotel naar de ferry (veerboot) van St. George naar Manhattan. 'I spent a night at Glo Best Western Hotel in the Bronx, New York City. It’s an excellent place to stay with your family. It’s in a good shopping center on the Southern Blvd. The 2 &5 Train station is just around the corner. They have parkin’ nice staff, clean and spacious room for breakfast. They only need to adjust their bath though clean. I recommend this hotel to every traveler who needs a place to spend a day or days in the Bronx. I enjoyed the place.'

'Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there.'
