'Staff was super friendly. The rooms just weren't cozy. No table for a family to sit and eat in the room. No dresser to put clothes in. No real closet. Was surprised this is owned by Hilton. I paid 750 for 4 days, it wasn't worth the money.'

'The property overall was clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and also very clean, with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator are included in the rooms, along with a freezer slot in the fridge.'

'The room was spacious and comfortable. It's great that there's enough counter space in the bathroom. We liked that some of the furnitures are modular and reconfigurable to our liking. We also enjoyed the convenience of having the nice breakfast without having to leave the hotel.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'
