'The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. 'Linked Inn was a wonderful experience. The location is ideal and very quiet and peaceful. The house is very nice, well kept, and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. All in all this was one of my very best VRBO stays!'

'We had a fantastic time and, after living out of hotels for over a week, it was especially nice to stay at this beautiful and well maintained property. The neighborhood was beautiful, the home was perfectly stocked, and the bedrooms were all clean, individually decorated, and as neat as they could be.Communication with the host was flawless.There were only two of us but the home could accommodate 6 easily.Hopefully we'll be back!!'

'We enjoyed our trip! The pool was phenomenal, and had all the floaties and fixings you could ever need. Definitely pack bug spray if you plan on staying outside for any period of time! We needed to contact Paul (the host) several times about internet access and some outlet problems, but he responded quickly and was able to be at the property within 15 minutes each time. 'My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, smelled great, and looked well kept up. Although we didn’t use them, it seemed to have everything you already need to cook as well (pots, silverware, utensils, etc). I can’t speak for the club amenities since we didn’t use them but the registration staff were wonderful. My only regret is not staying here longer!'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
