'Maine is spectacular in mid-October. The Primrose Apartment was the perfect location to see the colorful leaves, visit lighthouses and enjoy all both Rockland and Camden have to offer. Alex and Siobhan were gracious, thoughtful and kind hosts. The view of Glen Cove from both the kitchen window and the deck is stunning. The Primrose was the perfect property and location for our stay.'

'The house is beautiful and well equipped. I mean, there is a Kitchen-Aid mixer! And, the beds are incredibly comfortable with amazing linens. It was clean, comfortable and has a park down the street right on the ocean. Highly recommend!'

'the lake is amazing and access easy. We swam and paddled all day. house is great location to get to Camden/Lincolnville for great food and shopping and hiking. Need to be willing to have people stay in rooms together bc the bedrooms have multiple beds. They have everything you need in the kitchen!'

'We have been staying in the mid coast Maine area for vacation over the last decade and our family agreed that this house in Owl’s Head was the best of all. Every detail has been considered for guests and the house is light-filled, immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect- we saw so much wildlife, kayaked every day, and had fantastic meals just down the road in Rockland (Ada’s is our favorite). Jen is a very responsive and accommodating host. Can we give it 10 stars??'

'We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back.'

'My family really enjoyed staying at this extremely clean, spacious and lovely house. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. 1st floor bathroom with walk-in shower was great for my parents. Nice touches and decor. Kitchen is like new. Easy walk to Main Street, museums, restaurants and shops as well as a Walgreens. Short drive to grocery stores. Owner was quick to respond, very friendly and helpful. We were sad to have to pack up and leave. Staying here made our trip so much more enjoyable than...

'Suzanne was a wonderful host, and the property was very unique, historical and beautiful. The porch overlooking the ocean was the place to be when not in front of one of the many fireplaces. Surprisingly close to restaurants, bars and things to do.'

'Exactly as described - great layout and views, especially from the 3rd floor, close to water, short walk to town, great location to explore the area. Note: as described, the stairs are very steep and would not be appropriate for someone with limited mobility.'

'My husband and I stayed here in for several nights and really enjoyed our time. It's a very cute guest cottage close to the main downtown. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. Nice amenities, such as a fan, record player, wine/bottle opener & glasses, kitchen supplies, plenty of blankets, and designated parking spot. It was also very nice having a fenced backyard available for us. Highly recommend this charming cottage!'

'The location was really great, short walk for coffee each morning. The neighborhood was very quiet and everyone was friendly. We found the house more spacious than the pictures show. Having a small yard was good for the kids. The kitchen could use some more cooking tools. We tend cook instead of going out to eat every meal. Vacasa was difficult to deal with.
