'the Dragonfly Ranch is an awesome place, well decorated in alternative style, and very clean. I personally clicked very well with the people working there. They serve dinner and breakfast straight from the organic garden and have great cooks. The bed sheets are smooth and comfortable and one of the best snorkeling bays of the big island (two steps) is about a mile away. They also have snorkeling gear. It still feels like i made friends with the people working there. RECOMMENDED'

Dragonfly ranch is an unique place with a nice, even spiritual, vibe. The staff is very welcoming. For the light sleepers; the frogs are really loud. One of us used earplugs which were provided. 'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean).

'The property and location were amazing! We had the best time! The buffet was a bit chaotic and the pool staff were incredible but understaffed. The only down side was the house keeping rarely came. We have a baby and so having the room cleaned and garbage taken out would have been helpful. We loved the location and will be back again! '

"We stayed here for the Ironman. Since our son qualified late we were very lucky to find this place. Communication with Sarah was perfect from the beginning. She gave us tips for restaurants, beaches, etc. She even supported our son during the Ironman. We loved the house. Our bed was even long enough for me (I'm about 2 meters tall).
The kitchen has all the things you need. We loved both lanai's.
The neighbourhoud is quiet. And it's just a short drive to the center and the supermarkets.
We would certainly book it again when visiting Hawai'i"
