'We arrived just before sunset.Ron's directions were spot on. Keep your eyes open for the red gravel driveway. The place was spotless and very spacious. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances. Farm sink, mini frig and 2 burner hot plate. The bathroom was beautifully done with a chiseled stone sink with rain shower and beautiful tile and river rock. Definitely rock. base. Plenty of water'

'We were very Comfortable and would stay again! Appreciate white linens as it adds to feeling of being clean. Comfortable bed. A/C was a nice perk! Unit was ground level so easy to get baggage in and out. Designated parking spot. House Close to road but never noticed car noise. Did hear foot noise over head but wouldn’t deter from staying again. The local market, KTA, was great!!'

'Unexpectedly wonderful. Book so we could be close to Volcano park and it was such a great size comfortable home. Per usual for vrbo the kitchen utensils were lacking, but not enough that it took away from our family time. Being only 8 minutes from the park we were able to watch the webcams and head to the park for a show. Blessed to see the volcano in action. Thank you!'

'My partner and I loved this very unique property. The outdoor shower, and being totally surrounded by nature, listening to the coqui frogs at night, and enjoying a fire in the evening. Would definitely recommend for a tranquil setting!'

'This was a great spot to stay as our home base while we explored the Big Island. Great location- central to everything we wanted to do on the Hilo side (about an hour from VNP, and within an hour of several waterfalls). Easily the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, and the added bonus of a gate made us feel safe and secure. If we return to the Big Island, we will definitely be staying here again! '

'Would definitely stay again. Wonderful, quiet property. Well stocked kitchen with all items in good repair. Drinks, eggs, water, pancakes, butter, salt/pepper and other condiments when I was there. I'm sure the selection varies.'

'I had an incredible experience in my studio. The proximity to beautiful beaches, the unique cove, and the chance to see whales made My stay all the more special. The studio was recently renovated and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed, a spacious bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. "In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). The hotel is within walking distance of the town which is useful for finding food, drinks and other small shopping. Main issue we had was that the big trucks driving past can be quite loud if you are on that side of the hotel. The AC was also very loud and right above the bed, it also turned on and off every few minutes throughout the night so if you are sensitive to sound this might be nice to know. In general I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal on the price. It is quite nice for a 3* hotel. "
