'Property manager is caring and great to deal with, accommodations are comfy, view is amazing, good location, AC can be missed on some days, but overall we loved our stay and recommend staying here especially in non-summer months. '
'We loved our stay at SCP. We are a young family of four and we felt very welcomed from the beginning. Amanda the night front desk host was very nice and we saw her the next night too. And even though it was 12am she was still very friendly and welcoming.
We loved the amenities; the stand up paddle board we borrowed for a few hours for two days, the pool, the different areas to relax in. I think my favorite was the open hotel lobby. We highly recommend!'
'Always love this hotel and beach. Breakfast buffet was delicious (big thank you to the hostesses and wait staff for their kind service each day) and Meredia was spectacular. Sunsets are not to be skipped, especially from the Meredia walkway, bar and restaurant. Love that Kayla in the Meredia bar remembered us from the last 2 years. Bummed that the piano was removed from the Meredia but found the piano player up in Piko with a portable piano. The other musicians he set up to play were fabulous as...
'This resort is amazing! Everything from my room to lobby, pool, and anything in between was immaculate. On property activities were endless. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of what Hilton had to offer. There will definitly be a next time and I will stay much longer than this las visit.'
'We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.
Would definitely stay again.'

Leer over de geschiedenis van Kailua-Kona als je een uitstapje maakt naar Kailua Pier. Maak een wandeling langs de kust of ontdek de schitterende zonsondergangen hier.
Verken Eiland Hawaï, een aan de kust gelegen gebied met stranden, leuke winkels en populaire bezienswaardigheden, zoals Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
"In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean).
The hotel is within walking distance of the town which is useful for finding food, drinks and other small shopping.
Main issue we had was that the big trucks driving past can be quite loud if you are on that side of the hotel. The AC was also very loud and right above the bed, it also turned on and off every few minutes throughout the night so if you are sensitive to sound this might be nice to know.
In general I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal on the price. It is quite nice for a 3* hotel.
